What we do

We gather in one place the links to the official websites where each UK procedure is done, with our own plain-language summary. The official link is always what matters: the procedure happens there.

How we choose links

• We only link to official domains (gov.uk, nidirect.gov.uk, mygov.scot, gov.wales, nhs.uk, NHS inform and a few public bodies such as TV Licensing or MoneyHelper).
• Every entry says which nation it applies to: England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.
• We check links every week because official websites change their addresses.

Commercial relationships

Certificate Assist, a paid assistance service for UK certificates, is linked to the people behind UK Info Citizen. Where we list it, it is always shown as a paid, non-official service, with that link stated, and always below the official links.

Licence

Summaries are our own. Contact data for public bodies that comes from GOV.UK is reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
